SEVEN HILLS LAKE CALENDAR OF EVENTS

gfdsHere is the calendar for upcoming Seven Hills Lake Community Events. Any dates appearing in yellow indicate there is an event scheduled for that day. To see the text detail on an event, simply run your mouse over those dates which appear in yellow. IMPORTANT "SAVE-THE-DATES" FOR 2018 ANNOUNCED BY THE BOARD

hjipoThe Social Committee and the Seven Hills Lake Property Association Executive Board have announced the key "Save the Dates" for 2018. The Ice Follies are scheduled for Sunday, February 11th at 2:00 PM at the beach. The Egg Hunt party will be on Sunday March 18th at 3:00 P.M. also at the beach. The Beach Clean-Ups have been set for Sunday, May 20th and Saturday August 25th - both at 10AM. The Independence Day Summer Picnic will be held on Saturday July 14th at 4:00 P.M. and the Labor Day Party will be on Sunday, September 2nd at 4PM. The always amazing Oktoberfest is on tap for Saturday September 29th at 5:00 P.M. The Fall Lake Clean-Up - to prepare the lake for the winter - will be held on September 30th at 11:00 AM. The fall membership meeting is set for 5PM, Sunday, October 21st at the Kent Fire Hall - while the Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party is all set for October 28th at 3:00 P.M. at the beach, The holiday party is currently slated for Saturday, January 5th at 6PM. Check back here, there may be changes, or more events added.

LAKE CLEAN-UP DATES ANOUNCED FOR 2018

eewThe Seven Hills Lake Executive Board and the Social Committee have announced that the Lake Clean-Up dates are locked in for 2018. The Spring clean up is scheduled for Sunday May 20th, while the Summer clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, August 25th - both starting at 10AM. The Fall Lake Clean-Up - to prepare the lake for the winter - will be held on September 30th at 11:00 AM. Bring your gardener gloves, your rakes, your weed cutting tools and be prepared to lend a hand in making the lake as good as we can make it. Bring a treat or a snack or a drink to pass around and we will be all set. For those on the physically unable to perform or PUP list, feel free to bring some food to the beach or some extra beverages for the workers. Every little bit helps!

SUMMER PICNIC - SATURDAY JULY 14TH @ 4PM!

cdsa If you have had the good fortune to participate in any of our past July celebrations, you know that this is a very special event. The fun starts at 4PM and goes well into the evening hours. It's a day filled with great food and great people which is always a recipe for success. The association will furnish the grillables - but please plan on bringing a dish to share with your neighbors - and bring beverages of your choice. A hearty thanks goes out to the Social Committee planners and the cleaner-uppers for their tireless work. There are some photos of past events here: July4thPhotos. Hope to see everyone there!

LABOR DAY PARTY SLATED FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND - AT 4PM

The Labor Day holiday party is scheduled to take place on Monday September 2nd at 4PM. The lake association usually has a number of hamburgers and hot dogs available from the July party, but as always, we ask that the party-goers bring a dish along with beverages of their choice to share. The lake association will also provide the paper goods. Hope to see everyone there and spread the word to be sure your neighbors all know about it.

OKTOBERFEST SLATED FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 29TH AT 5PM!

da For those who may not know, this is certainly considered one of - if not THE - premier social event of the year! Everyone literally feasts on the super great food, fellowship, and if we get lucky - the incredible kegs of homemade brew. Be on the lookout for Bavarian lederhosen and dirndls as everyone broasts and toasts their neighbors! You never see a frown at this party. We always have great support - from the home bakers and chefs and the on site potato pancake makers - to the skillfull brew masters. Thanks can go out to everyone in advance - the entire community makes this such a great outing and such an outstanding success every year. We would be remiss if we failed to mention the unsung heroes, the organizers: the Social Committee, and of course, the set-up and clean-up volunteers. HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA SET FOR SUNDAY OCTOBER 28TH AT 3PM!

Please join us at the beach for a 3 PM Halloween Spooktacular, complete with pumpkin carving, ghoulish games and freaky fun. Yes, freaky fun is exactly what the doctor ordered for this extravaganza. Photos from past events are here. Please bring the kids, a pumpkin, a carver, some snacks and beverages to share - and be completely prepared for more high jinx and spooky merriment than people should be allowed to have.

"AFTER THE HOLIDAYS HURRAH" PARTY SET FOR JANUARY 5, 2019 AT 6PM

dwThe Holiday Party is all set for Saturday January 5th, at 6 PM. The party will be held at the Kent Fire Hall located at 2490 Route 301. All members are asked to bring a potluck dish or a dessert to share. There will also be a 50-50 Raffle to benefit the Lake Association. Sara and the Social Committee are looking to lock in a few volunteers for set-up and clean-up duties. If you can help, please email Sara Baio. Photos from previous events are here. EGGSTRAVAGANZA AT THE BEACH - WAS A SUCCESS WITH NEW PHOTOS

The Social Committee has certainly been setting the bar high in terms of our parties, and they have now set the date for the always popular Egg Hunt and decorating party. It will be at the beach on Sunday, March 18th at 3:00 P.M. Affectionately known as the Eggstravaganza, the event has included in past years - egg decorating, an egg toss and an egg hunt. Egg decorating supplies and some treats will be supplied by the association. Simply bring some eggs to decorate and a snack or some beverages to share. Don't forget to bring some bucks for the 50-50 raffle. If you plan to participate in the egg hunt, we ask that you plan to arrive promptly at 3:00PM and an RSVP to rsvp@sevenhillslake.com would really be appreciated. We hope to see everyone there! WINTER ICE FOLLIES CHANGED TO SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH AT 2PM

dsaThe winter Ice Follies for 2018 has been changed to Saturday February 10th at 2PM due to the crazy weather. The Social Committee and the team of organizers and snow removers generally work overtime as necessary - to really make this a great event. The association will supply the cocoa, marshmallows and bonfire - please bring some hot dogs to roast or a snack to share. And don't forget to bring some cash for the 50-50 raffle which benefits the association. We have some photos posted here from previous events. Spending some quality time with your neighbors can be a good way to warm the chill in the air! In case of inclement weather (imagine THAT!) check here for alternate arrangements or dates.
